Throwback Thursday: Cognac

Cognac is an important colour to incorporate into your wardrobe, especially since we’ll be transitioning into fall fashion! It’s versatile and can be paired with pretty much anything.

Since it can tend to be rather simple, pairing a cognac jacket with something a little more exotic (like these Anthro pants) will definitely liven up your outfit!

What do you guys think of this look? How would you style a cognac-inspired outfit?

A Day Of Beauty With Kaitlyn: Makeup Remover

So, an eyelash tip I always swear by when I am shooting is to curl my lashes and apply waterproof mascara. The reason behind this is that the waterproof formula dries faster and will hold my curl all day and night. I have straight lashes so this is what I do. However, waterproof mascara is a product for the summer – pools, cottages, etc.! It’s amazing but terrible to remove. I found the answer.

The Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover by Lancome is incredible. I apply some to a cotton pad and gently remove any eye makeup, including that waterproof mascara that is so hard to get off. It removes it so easily that I don’t have to tear at my eyes and lashes, as I find other removers sometimes do.

Model Monday: Black Wrap Dress

For those of you who start your week off struggling on what to wear to the office, it’s all about finding those select few staples and building around them!

This black wrap dress by Ganni is a perfect building block. I love the mix of modern/vintage styling as well. Celine glasses, a Chloe cross-body bag and then some awesome vintage looking derby shoes.

What do you guys think? Are you ready to start your work week in style? 👜

Fashion Friday: Keep It Casual

The weather is gorgeous here so it seems fitting to write about an easy way to dress casual, yet chic for a fun-filled weekend.

A subtle addition of colour, a wicked cuff or even some punchy patterns are enough to take a simple outfit and make it stand out. Whether you’re heading to the beach, running errands around the city or even sitting on a patio drinking sangria (I vote for the latter), a striped tank and some boyfriend jeans can make the right statement.

Have a great weekend everyone! 🍹
