A Day Of Beauty With Kaitlyn: Bare Minerals Bare Skin

image1 (4)

One of the amazing makeup artists I get to work with brought this foundation to my attention while we were on set. She applied it on me that day and I ran out the following day to purchase it for myself. The new bareSkin brightening foundation by bareMinerals is amazing. It leaves your skin looking natural, fresh, bright, and has great build-able coverage if you want it. The formula is very thin and east to apply, as it goes on like a second skin.

This foundation has SPF 20 built into it, it’s a great price point and a little goes a long way so it should last you a while.

I wear Bare Latte 11.

Model Monday: Printed Jumpsuits

Happy Monday everyone! It’s a new work week, which means new outfit choices and inevitable dilemmas. When you’re unsure what to wear, it’s always nice to have a few staples to rely on. Jumpsuits are a definite favourite of mine. They’re lightweight, breezy, chic and come in an array of patterns.

This one by Eight Sixty sticks with the wide leg trend and can be matched brilliantly with heels, flats or espadrilles.

What do you guys think of the pattern?

Model Monday: Lace Romper

Rompers are perfect transitional pieces when looking for spring inspiration. You can dress them up with heels or open-toed sandals, or dress them down like Aimee did with some classic Chuck Taylor’s! This one by Ministry of Style is a little more conservative, so it’s perfect for everyday wear.

Add a floppy hat and some studded sandals for a more chic look. What do you guys think?

Work It Wednesday: Pleats + Stripes

There’s so much to say about this outfit. The edgey leather/pleated skirt with a graceful raw hem, the striped v-neck blouse, and of course the gorgeous Dolce Vita snakeskin sandals with their dazzling grommets.

It can be hard not to look at black and white pinstripes without thinking of either the movie Beetlejuice or a referee, but this outfit is really on trend.
