Twisted Tuesday: Flared Jeans

post-4

70’s style is making a big comeback for S/S 15 fashion and it’s very exciting! Bright colours, bold patterns and ripped/flared cuts are always fun to rock day-to-day. There’s also something very liberating about embracing the 70’s culture once again.

So whether you’re heading to a music festival, a concert, or just a fun night on the town, don’t be afraid to get a little disco!

Twisted Tuesday: Wide Leg Trend

0C6A4064

The wide leg trend is something that’s really taken off with the rise in popularity of music festivals. What was once a 60’s and 70’s hippy trend has come back as a bohemian chic look. Casual, exotic, flowy and fun, wide leg pants might be a the missing piece to your ultimate S/S 15 wardrobe.

What do you guys think?

Sexy Saturday: Festival Love

DSC_6871

I’ve been seeing pictures upon pictures of people living it up at Coachella, and of course, people cleverly using the #NoChella hashtag to pretend they went. It’s always fun to see what people where to these things and it’s impressive how the hippy culture has come back around to a more modern bohemian chic.

I love this outfit because it’s a little bit of a classier look (Jessica Simpson) and can be worn not just at a festival, but any day during spring/summer.

Sexy Saturday: Festival Fever

With Coachella firing up next weekend, it marks the start of festival season! Music lovers from around the world will congregate to deserts and beaches in order to catch their favourite bands and DJ’s perform live over the course of a weekend.

For fashion, it means we get an array of vintage, gypsy and bohemian inspired clothing mixed with modern twists and turns.

I loved this outfit by Alden Steimle because its so colourful. She’s doing it right by wearing a comfortable set of runners, making sure her feet are up to the task of 4 12 hour days.

Anyone going to Coachella over the next couple of weeks? Comment below and let us know what you’re looking forward to this festival season!

Temporary Tattoos: A Glimmering Trend That’s Here To Stay

1463e046-95b5-41c5-be1e-b0fc0faa6f62WallpAutoWallpaper2

With growing bohemian-style influences from companies like Child of Wild and Free People, it appears that the rustic and glimmering look of temporary tattoos is a fashion trend that’s here to stay. Inspired by the creativity that emerged from music festivals such as, Burning Man and Coachella, the latest SS15 Collections from Milan and Paris have featured painted gold lip rings and metallic foil – emulating lavish jewellery.

There’s something truly beautiful (and cost effective) behind creating your own gold and silver designs. Instead of incorporating these stencils with their wardrobes, people are literally making them part of their body.

So be as conservative or creative as you’d like and long live the endless summer!
