Hi guys! I’m Jodi, the newest contributor to Spread. I’m super passionate about fashion and am excited to share my ideas with this amazing community. This season I am in love with Rag & Bone. The whole collection is amazing and so wearable, especially their amazing collection of Vests.

I fell in love with the Faye vest the minute I laid eyes on it. The peaked lapel and double breasted style had me hooked and I knew this would be a versatile piece in my wardrobe. Rag & Bone has out done themselves this season with a neutral colour pallet accented with bright reds, purples and oranges.

There is not an item in this collection I wouldn’t love to own. Most of their pieces are sewn in the USA which also appeals to my patriotic nature and sense of community. Their main focus is on classic tailoring and beautifully constructed clothing and they are constantly redefining urban style and how we dress.

What do you guys think? What are you excited about this season?

Fall Essentials: Staple Outfit

Spread - Fall Essentials

You can rely on an outfit like this to make a profound statement time and time again. Each piece is a staple on its own. Together, they form a cohesive fall staple that can be accessorized, toned down or brightened up depending on how you’re feeling. If it’s colder, throw on some tights and a colourful scarf. Best of all, outfits like these are inexpensive. Find out for yourself by clicking on the links below! 🍂😊

Model Monday: Printed Jumpsuits

IMG_1226

Happy Monday everyone! It’s a new work week, which means new outfit choices and inevitable dilemmas. When you’re unsure what to wear, it’s always nice to have a few staples to rely on. Jumpsuits are a definite favourite of mine. They’re lightweight, breezy, chic and come in an array of patterns.

This one by Eight Sixty sticks with the wide leg trend and can be matched brilliantly with heels, flats or espadrilles.

What do you guys think of the pattern?

Line-and-Dot-FW2014-Collaboration-11Line-and-Dot-FW2014-Collaboration-10

Fall is here – which means you’re going to be in a fluctuating state between hot and cold. With high’s of 28 and lows of 9, it’s a difficult task to dress comfortably for an entire day’s events. Breezy dresses will leave you cold and covered with goosebumps, while leggings and a jacket will have you looking for the nearest fountain to jump in.

Is there a solution?

Of course. Line & Dot’s 2014 Fall Fashion Collection features an array of rompers, onesies, skirts, dresses and coats that will keep you at a perfect balance between hot and cold! Take this Daria Quilted Flare Skirt for example. By layering it with a matching sweater, you can stay cool during the day and cozy during those brisk evening strolls.

So take a browse through spread and explore the wonderful array of colour and texture that is fall fashion!
