A Day Of Beauty With Kaitlyn: BCBG

IMG_2671

A brand that is definitely a go-to for me for many reasons is BCBG, as they always have great style, great fit, and look elegant and classy. They are definitely one of my favourite lines, especially in terms of dresses.

Here is a beautiful blush gown I wore to a friend’s wedding last week in Toronto. The fit and design made me feel like a princess all night long and the lace on both sides is just my favourite thing about this dress. SO beautiful I can’t wait to wear it again!

Throwback Thursday: Grey Vest

Mild weather on the east coast means it’s time to get a little creative! You don’t want to revert back to spring or jump ahead to fall staples, but at the same time it’s important to dress appropriately.

It doesn’t really feel like summer in Toronto, so I’ve found an outfit that will make do until the sun finally comes. ☀️

A vest and skinny jeans are perfect for mild weather, giving you protection from the chilly wind and an available option to take off layers if it gets warm. What do you guys think of this particular grey vest? It kind of reminds me of a Free People bohemian poncho.

Meet your new summer uniform! This easy, ready-for-anything romper is made from a supersoft, lightweight fabric and finished with utility-inspired details, like patch pockets at the chest and cargo-esque pockets at the sides.

I love the indigo tone. It reminds me of ocean waves and summer skies! ☀️

Throwback Thursday: Bomber Jackets

IMG_1822_zps2ncleovo

It can be hard to find transitional coats for Spring. We usually run to our traditional leather or denim jackets to blend a mix of style and comfort, but more often than not I feel the need to wear something more specific.

Bomber jackets are amazing at mixing warmth and flexibility all in a feminine and chic design. This one by Elizabeth Roberts doesn’t disappoint!

What do you guys think? Are bomber jackets being resurrected from the 80’s?

Work It Wednesday: Forever 21 vs. Missguided

I was blown away by both of these looks and couldn’t decide which one I liked more! The grey outfit is featuring a gorgeous Forever 21 long sleeved cardigan that I feel like is meant to be lived in. Talk about the perfect mix of comfortable and stylish.

The second outfit is featuring a super chic three quarter length coat by Missguided. I absolutely love the colour and the soft touch fabric. My only concern would be whether or not it could stand up to the rain!

So what do you guys think? Forever 21 or Missguided? Which one is your fav?!
