Cozy Street Style

The weather’s been changing quite quickly, which means I’ve needed to progressively add layers each and every time I go out. On relatively warmer days, you can get away with rocking this outfit without tights, but warm socks and knee-high boots are a must. Layering is one of my favourite things to do with outfits because its easy to experiment with different colours and tones. Choosing different variations of grey can make a profound statement, just as much as wearing an extreme pop of colour.

So have some fun! And if you want to learn more about any of these beautiful fall products, just click on the links below! 😘

Work It Wednesday: Spring Layering

Spring can be fickle. Some days it’ll be scolding hot and you’ll be walking around in your flip flops pretending that you’re on vacation. Then there are the other days – rain, wind and what can never feel like enough layers.

Layering doesn’t have to be a chore and for spring, it’s often do-able without even wearing a jacket. I love the pullover sweater/plaid shirt combo that Louise is rocking. Casual, fun and extremely practical. Pair it with some skinnies and an awesome pair of espadrilles and you’re ready for whatever spring throws your way!

Fashion Friday: Pretty In Pink

An incredibly sophisticated and feminine way to end the work week. This model has chosen to showcase luxury fabrics like cashmere, calfskin leather and Italian flannel, while choosing very soft colours like pink and white.

A conservative yet, stylish outfit that’s on trend with pastels this season. You can shop the look on Spread by clicking on any of the links below. Enjoy your weekend!

Throwback Thursday: Give Your Home A Cozy Feeling

I can remember sitting at home next to a roaring fire with a warm cup of cocoa in my hands and feeling nothing but the utmost content. It’s funny how you can become nostalgic for things you take for granted as a kid.

For today’s Throwback Thursday, I wanted to highlight the perfect way to create a “cozy” atmosphere in your own home. Start with comfy clothes like this wool sweater from Free People. It’s also very important to find the largest pair of socks in the house and wear them like they’re winter boots.

Make a cup of hot chocolate – for grown ups you can try doing half coffee/half hot chocolate and throwing a little Kahlúa in it!

Grab a book, sit back and relax – everyone needs a day off.

Model Monday: A Warm And Fuzzy Style

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend filled with exciting activities. If it was anything like mine, you’ll need to spend today draped in something warm and incredibly comfortable.

This fuzzy green piece from H&M is the perfect way to stay warm and stylish this Monday! Wear it with shorts, tights, leggings, or jeans – whatever is the most comfortable and relevant for the weather. It’s cold here so I’d recommend a warm pair of leggings underneath.

Have yourself a cozy week! :) If you like the models sweater or boots, click on the images or the links below.

Work It Wednesday: A Sweater So Comfortable You’ll Never Want To Take It Off

Coming across this image, I wanted to know two things:

  1. Where is this beautiful view?
  2. Where can I get that sweater?

Well, to my surprise, this beautiful photo was taken at the West End Overlook of Pittsburgh! As for the cozy looking sweater, it’s an Egyptian Cable Turtleneck from 525 America. So incredibly warm and versatile you’ll want to live in it during the week, lounge in in on the weekends, and even explore the most beautiful spots in your city under the protection of its warm embrace.

If you’re thinking this turtleneck is too concealing to be able to work it, try wearing some simple accessories – like this David Yurman bracelet.
